How we use sources and evidence
We distinguish who supplied information, what was checked and what remains unknown. Public material, operating records, editorial interpretation and personal experience are different kinds of evidence—even on the same page.
Six kinds of evidence
Partner-provided information
Information supplied by a stay, workspace or operating partner. Without a separate verification record, it remains the provider’s account. A partnership is not a quality guarantee.
On-site observation
Observations from a recorded visit, limited to that place, time and scope. They do not guarantee later conditions or every visitor’s experience.
Hosted-program record
Historical records of programs operated by Wakation. They are identified as the operator’s own records, not independent research or proof that recruitment is open now.
Editorial interpretation
Explanations, comparisons and planning that connect information for readers. Editorial judgment and examples are kept distinct from verified facts or measurements.
Community experience
Experiences written by community members, reflecting their own perspectives. Publication does not mean Wakation has checked every claim before posting.
Source, update, verification and expiry are different
- Source
- The publisher, provider and original link. A source’s publication date belongs to that source; it is not the date Wakation checked it again.
- Update date
- When a page’s wording or structure changed. Correcting a typo or translation does not reverify a place, price or application status.
- Verification date
- The recorded date of a check on a source or fact. It does not guarantee claims beyond that check’s scope or the situation at this moment.
- Expiry
- A recorded limit on when information applies. Distinguish application deadlines from operating periods, and check the source for early closure or budget limits.
A verification date is shown only when an actual check is recorded. An edit or deployment date is not substituted for it. Missing dates mean not recorded or verification unknown; no expiry date does not mean indefinite validity or open recruitment.
How to read the records
Hosted surveys are historical records
Survey summaries from programs we hosted, including Yangyang, are records from that time. Raw responses and detailed sample information are not currently available to readers. We do not turn these summaries into new statistics, current satisfaction claims or findings representative of all travelers or other programs.
An image may not be evidence of a site visit
In-house imagery may illustrate a region or atmosphere. It is not used as proof of a visit, current facility conditions or an actual program scene.

For support programs and program information, check the original source and verification record on the detail page. You can request a correction when information is wrong or has changed.
