How to apply: steps, documents and cautions (from the official notice)

Only what the official notice and the operator’s guidance state is summarised here. Details change between rounds and years, so re-check the sources below right before applying.

Steps

  1. 1Book and pay for a desk pass and lodging on the centre website (“예약하기”) or the Dear Monday Gapyeong page up to 2 days before use (weekends and holidays excluded) — partner stays are charged with the subsidy already deducted
  2. 2Submit the participation form and proof documents (employment certificate, business registration etc.). Proof can be shown on site, but without it you cannot use the centre, so attach it when applying
  3. 3After the confirmation and guidance message, visit the centre on the day to get a seat (remaining seats can be paid for on site)
  4. 4If you used a non-partner stay in Gapyeong: book it yourself, then submit the satisfaction survey and the subsidy claim documents after the stay to receive the subsidy. Partner-stay, campsite and office-only users also submit the survey

Required documents

  • Participation form plus proof: business registration or contract for sole proprietors, employment certificate or staff ID for employees, business registration and participant list for companies (by prior arrangement)
  • Lodging subsidy for non-partner stays: subsidy claim form, lodging confirmation (collected at the centre), payment receipt or transfer record, resident register copy (proof of residence outside Gapyeong), bank book copy — the confirmation and receipt amounts must match
  • When booking through the operator (Dear Monday): the centre application form, personal or group data consent, and a 2026 employment certificate or national insurance certificate (business registration for owners, a comprehensive income tax return within a year for freelancers)

Things to watch

  • The lodging subsidy is up to ₩50,000 per room per night (same for 2+ guests), only for weekday nights on days you use the centre, 1–4 nights (e.g. Monday use → Mon–Tue night; Tue–Thu use → 2 nights; Friday use with a Fri–Sun stay → Fri–Sat only). Rooms under ₩50,000 are paid at cost
  • Gapyeong residents and staff of Gapyeong workplaces may use the centre but get no subsidy. County-run lodgings (Jaraseom campsite, Kalbongsan forest, Sanjang resort, environmental disease centre, Yeoninsan campsite) are not subsidised
  • No subsidy if you do not visit the centre on the day of use. The subsidy closes early once the budget runs out
  • Cancellation refunds (user’s fault): 100% up to 5 days before, 90% 2–4 days before, 80% the day before, 70% on the day or without notice

FAQ

Do I apply or receive funds through Wakation?

The official notice is final. Budgets, early closure and operating details can change, so check again before applying.

Will any hotel booking qualify?

Not necessarily. Each program has its own eligible stays and expenses. Do not assume eligibility unless the official notice says so.
