Steps

  1. 1Create an account with the operator The Hyuil (thehyuil.co.kr) and pick one of the 11 Gyeonggi venues under Programmes
  2. 2Choose your dates (weekday stays Mon–Thu, 2+ nights), lodging and office, then click Apply — you pay the listed participation fee yourself, and rooms and offices cannot be used before the booking is confirmed
  3. 3Before the stay, submit your business registration certificate and certificate of employment (freelancers may submit a business card instead)
  4. 4After the stay, submit workation proof photos (one of the office and one of the lodging per company) and complete the emailed survey to confirm the ₩30,000-per-night support

Things to watch

  • Support applies to weekday stays (Mon–Thu nights) of at least 2 nights: ₩30,000 per night, up to 4 nights. Private and public-sector employees, civil servants and sole proprietors can apply individually or as a group
  • Skipping the survey restricts future workation use (operator notice)
  • Listed fees are weekday rates; summer peak (17 Jul–17 Aug), public holidays and weekends are priced separately and vary by venue
  • Refund rules differ by venue (e.g. Siheung Wave M: 100% up to 3 days before, 50% up to 2 days before, none from the day before)
  • Gyeonggi residents with a Culture Pass get an extra ₩30,000 coupon, first come first served (per the press release)
