Steps
- 1Register on the Jeonnam Workation site — incomplete details or missing attachments can get the account rejected, and what you enter is reused in later forms
- 2Download and fill in the application form (page 2 participant list for everyone), then submit it with your eligibility documents under Apply — bookings are 3 nights only
- 3Staff review applications in order and contact you; local room availability may make a booking impossible. On confirmation you get an itemised fee (lodging, coworking, local activity, pass)
- 4Pay the fee by bank transfer (a card payment link on request) to confirm. Quotes, transaction statements, receipts and usage certificates are issued on request
Required documents
- Application form (downloadable), the applicant’s business registration (or unique number) certificate and certificate of employment — no booking or consultation without them
- A family relation certificate is required if one family member accompanies you
Things to watch
- Your company address on the business registration must be outside Jeonnam (Gwangju is allowed)
- Lodging status (Jeonnam Workation home notice, 23 Oct 2026): Naju 3917 Majung is full (first come) and Darakhyu Yeosu has ended. Applying at least a week ahead is recommended in principle (late bookings may be possible depending on rooms)
- No cancellation or refund of the company contribution after confirmation (the programme is outside the Standard Terms Act) — only substitution by another employee of the same company
- Repeat limits: no second stay in the same region, no two stays in one quarter; one first-half (May–Aug) and one second-half (Sep–Nov) stay in different regions is allowed
- Peak seasons and local events bring blocked dates and price changes per lodging, advised individually. The Jeonnam Workation Pass (₩10,000 off per use at partner shops in Yeosu, Hampyeong, Boseong and Wando) is valid 30 days after code registration and until 30 Nov 2026

Do I apply or receive funds through Wakation?
No. Wakation summarizes the notice; the operating institution handles applications, selection and funding.
Are the dates and benefits final?
The official notice is final. Budgets, early closure and operating details can change, so check again before applying.
Will any hotel booking qualify?
Not necessarily. Each program has its own eligible stays and expenses. Do not assume eligibility unless the official notice says so.
