Entry & stay preparation

Pick a destination and purpose to see the government’s official pages and the questions to check for your situation

Wakation does not decide whether you can enter or which visa you need. The answer depends on your passport, departure country, length and purpose, so always check the official pages below. Every link goes to an official government site — not an agency that charges to file on your behalf.

Questions to check for your situation

Find the answers on the official pages or with the embassy or immigration authority. Wakation does not answer them for you.

  2. If visa-exempt, do I need a K-ETA, or am I covered by a temporary exemption?
  3. Do I need to submit an e-Arrival card, and by when?
  4. Can I take language or short classes as a visitor, or do I need a separate status such as D-4?
  5. Is remote work for an overseas employer allowed as a visitor, or do I need the F-1-D (workation) visa?
